ARTICLE 1 – Every guest, by contracting Ocean El Faro's accommodation and hotel services, accepts these regulations, to which they are bound, considering them as the service contract to be fulfilled.

ARTICLE 2 – Every guest must fill out and sign the registration card and keep the provided wristband-key tied to their wrist at all times. A charge of US$150.00, or its equivalent in Pesos, will be applied in case of loss.

ARTICLE 3 – Children must always be accompanied by adults.

ARTICLE 4 – Ocean El Faro is against child sex tourism. Any person detected engaging in this practice will be subject to the country's law and immediately handed over to the competent authorities.

ARTICLE 5 – No pets of any kind are allowed. Only guide dogs are permitted with management authorization and prior request. The dog must comply with hygiene standards, and the owner (guest) will be directly responsible for said guide dog.

ARTICLE 6 – In case of detecting any damage to the furniture and/or accessories in the room and/or public areas of the hotel, the cost of repair, cleaning, or replacement will be charged. We recommend proper use of these items; any detected damage will automatically generate a charge to the room.

ARTICLE 7 – Each room has a safety deposit box that guests can use free of charge. The hotel will not be responsible for the loss or theft of valuables not stored in the safety deposit boxes.

ARTICLE 8 – Any external visit must be reported in advance to Reception, providing the details of each visitor. Visitors must leave the property within 30 minutes and may only remain in the lobby without using other facilities or consuming food or beverages. It is forbidden to provide accommodation to persons not previously registered at reception, and the maximum room capacity cannot be exceeded.

ARTICLE 9 – The hotel management reserves the right to evict from the premises, without obligation to give any explanation, any guest whose behavior violates morality, decency, and good customs, or if their behavior disturbs other guests. This is for the purpose of protecting other customers.

ARTICLE 10 – To preserve the exclusivity and high quality of service in the restaurants, guests must dress according to the dress code established by the hotel and may not enter restaurants in wet clothing. It is not allowed to take food and beverages out of the restaurants.

ARTICLE 11 – For any comments, complaints, or to request a service, guests can contact the reception or the customer service department.

ARTICLE 12 – The established check-out time is 12:00 PM; if the guest does not vacate the room by this time, an automatic charge will be applied to the room for each extra hour. During check-out, the guest must return the room keys (wristband) and towel cards at the reception; in case of loss of any of these items, the corresponding charge will be applied.

ARTICLE 13 – Guests must return the wristband (key) upon check-out or a charge of US$150.00, or its equivalent in Dominican Pesos, will be applied.

ARTICLE 14 – Accommodation must be paid in advance or upon arrival. Otherwise, the guest must cover at least the payment corresponding to the first night's stay. The hotel reserves the right of admission.

ARTICLE 15 – Personal checks are not accepted for any payment. The acceptance of credit cards is limited to those advertised as valid at the hotel administration and that can cover the invoice amount.

ARTICLE 16 – The use of electric irons or other electricity-powered devices will be at the guest's responsibility.

ARTICLE 17 – The shops and agencies located within the property are concessionaires, and their management is independent of the hotel's operation; the hotel will not be responsible for their transactions.

ARTICLE 18 – Every guest must leave the main door, terrace door, and water taps closed when leaving the room. The hotel is not responsible for events caused by failure to heed this recommendation.

ARTICLE 19 – It is not permitted to hang clothes or towels on the room railing or to use hotel towels or other belongings outside the property.

ARTICLE 20 – Pools are for hotel guests' use only. It is not permitted to enter the pool in clothing; swimwear is mandatory. Pool rules must be respected. For hygiene reasons, drinking or eating in the pools is not permitted. Important: If you or any of your guests have experienced stomach upset in the last 48 hours, please refrain from using the pools. For assistance, please contact Guest Services. For your safety, please do not leave your belongings unattended. The hotel is not responsible for items left or forgotten in public areas, pools, or beaches.

ARTICLE 21 – For the comfort of all our guests, we suggest not reserving sun loungers. Do not leave your belongings out of sight; the hotel is not responsible for any loss.

ARTICLE 22 – Partial or total nudity is not permitted.

ARTICLE 23 – Every guest must respect the hotel's environmental policy. Feeding wild animals is not permitted.

ARTICLE 24 – Any person detected using illegal substances will be subject to the country's law and immediately handed over to the competent authorities.

ARTICLE 25 – Our hotel has liability insurance; for any additional information, please contact Reception.

ARTICLE 26 – All rooms are strictly NON-SMOKING. If burn damage and/or tobacco odor is detected, an automatic charge will be applied.

ARTICLE 27 – All purchases of services, such as excursions, massages, or items from non-certified vendors, are not the responsibility of the Hotel. The Hotel will not be responsible for services provided by third-party companies.

ARTICLE 28 – To ensure the comfort and tranquility of all our guests, please use headphones for personal audio. The use of external speakers in common areas is not permitted.
